When dreams come true...
It was almost three years ago when Roger Joyce showed us a group of ponies including this little fellow, while we were spending some time around the Clifden show with our friends. There was something special about this colt foal beside coming out of old quality true Connemara lines and we never forgot about him. During the winter there was a lot of time to think about getting that colt foal to Germany and finally after weeks of negotiations and planning plus finding a friend for company on his long trip to us, the colt arrived on Holger's birthday in April 2018. We called him Ernie consequently for he traveled with Salahoona Bertie. From that time on both colts grew up together with the rest of your young colts and geldings and bloomed. In January this year Ernie moved to Jan Lindemann to get prepared for the inspection in April. In March the Corona crisis hit Germany, the inspection was cancelled as everything else and we had to take Ernie back home. He covered two of our mares, because we were so convinced of his quality, and moved back into the boy group out on the field afterwards. Two weeks ago we received an email of our breeding society that they would organize a small private inspection and Ernie would be welcome there. Big excitement but our colt was without any training for almost two months now, so that would only work out if we immediately found a new trainer for him. Jan Lindemann was fully booked out. Fortunately Markus Popp and Alexandra Langer of lp-pferdemanagement had a vacant space and agreed on taking Ernie for a two week high speed fresh up. Yesterday was the day and we are very happy to announce that we are now owners of another class 1 Connemara Pony stallion, our first one that was born in Ireland,
From the heart of the Connemara into our hearts
Thank you to everyone who was involved in making this dream come true!
